A learning platform where every step makes sense.

Starting point

Almanach is developing its own method for learning German: immersive, carefully structured, and without translations. Learners are guided through the language step by step. New words, forms, and grammatical structures do not appear randomly, but exactly when they have been prepared.

This method had to work not only in teaching materials, but as a digital platform: for self-learners, for teachers in live classes, and for institutions running full courses with Almanach.

Challenge

The platform had to do more than a generic course player. It had to reflect the specific logic of Almanach: clear progression, structured repetition, color-coded grammar, and a simple experience for both learners and teachers.

At the same time, it had to be stable, fast, and easy enough to be used in real classes and to provide reliable access to courses, lessons, and materials every day.

What we did

   We built the web platform through which learners and teachers work with Almanach: from accessing courses and materials to using them in live classes.

2. 02

   We translated central parts of the Almanach method into digital structures: step-by-step progression, clear lessons, and a color-coded grammar system that makes German structures visible.

3. 03

   We developed the platform for several use cases at once: self-study, teacher-led classes, and institutional course programs.

What runs today

The platform is live at almanach.app. Learners use Almanach independently, teachers use the materials in class, and institutions can run full courses through the platform.
